Virtual Studio Terms

About these terms

These terms apply to Virtual Studio consultations booked through this website with Studio KV Ltd (company number 16080302), trading as Katherine Varnava Interiors, London, United Kingdom.

Requesting a consultation

Sending a request does not create a booking. Katherine reviews every request personally and may accept or decline it.

If your request is accepted, you will receive an email with bank transfer details, a payment reference and the date by which payment is due. If payment has not been received by that date, the time is released.

Your booking is guaranteed once Katherine has confirmed by email that your payment has been received.

Price and payment

The initial consultation is £250 plus VAT (£300 in total at the current rate of 20%) for 60 minutes by video call. The full amount, including VAT, is shown in your payment email. Payment is by bank transfer only. Please always use the payment reference given in your email.

Our bank details will never change by email. If you receive a message that appears to change them, please call 020 3051 7694 before making any payment.

If you go ahead and instruct Katherine after your consultation, the £250 initial consultation fee is redeemable against your future design package.

Before your call

Plans and any relevant information are needed at least 48 hours before the call, sent through the secure link in your confirmation email. If they have not arrived by then, the call will be cancelled or rearranged.

Your right to cancel

If you are booking as a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days of your booking being confirmed and receive a full refund, as long as the consultation has not yet taken place.

If you ask for the consultation to take place within those 14 days and then cancel after the service has started, you will pay for the work already done. Once the consultation has taken place, the right to cancel no longer applies.

To cancel, reply to your confirmation email or write to [email protected], quoting your booking reference.

Rearranging

If you need to change the time of your consultation, please contact the studio as soon as possible and Katherine will offer another time where she can.

If the studio needs to cancel or move your consultation, you will be offered another time or a full refund.

The consultation

A consultation is design guidance based on the information you provide. It is not a survey, and it does not replace advice from an architect, structural engineer or qualified electrician where one is needed.

Your files and information

Plans and files you send are stored securely and used only to prepare for and carry out your consultation. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections that the law of your own country gives you.
