Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful and how they found us, and Google advertising features so that, if we advertise, we can measure which adverts bring enquiries. These cookies are set by default when you first visit. You can decline them at any time: use the notice shown on your first visit, or click here to reopen the cookie options. Declining switches analytics and advertising off and deletes the Google cookies already set. Your choice is remembered in your browser and nothing about it is sent to us.
If you arrive from a Google advert, the advert’s click reference is kept in your browser for 90 days (unless you have declined cookies) and is included in the enquiry we receive if you contact us, so that we can tell which advertising brings genuine enquiries. It is never shown to you or shared beyond our own enquiry records.
The website also keeps its own record of visits, held in our own account with our website host (Cloudflare) and not shared with anyone: the page you arrived on, how you found us (for example a search engine, or an advert and the search that showed it), the pages you viewed and for how long, which contact links or buttons you used, the type of device and your approximate town based on your internet connection. It uses no cookies, and nothing is recorded if you have declined cookies. Enquiries you send through the website are recorded there whether or not you accept cookies, so that none is lost. Visit records are deleted after 14 months, and enquiries after 24 months unless they led to work with us.
The contact form, telephone and WhatsApp links work whether or not you accept cookies.
