I founded Katherine Varnava Interiors with a very clear intention - to design homes that feel quietly powerful. Spaces that are layered, refined and deeply considered. Homes that do not shout for attention, but command it through proportion, materiality and restraint.
My work sits at the intersection of creativity and technical precision. I am as passionate about spatial planning and architectural detailing as I am about colour, texture and atmosphere. Because true luxury is not simply how a home looks - it is how seamlessly it functions.
We work closely with private clients, architects and contractors to ensure that what is envisioned is also deliverable. Every drawing is considered. Every junction resolved. Every decision anchored in clarity.

I intentionally take on a limited number of projects each year. This allows me to remain deeply involved. Guiding each client through a structured, considered design journey from concept to completion.
I do not believe in formulaic interiors or trend-led design. Each project begins with listening & understanding how my clients live, what they value, and how they want to feel within their home. From there, I shape a design that is tailored, enduring and architecturally grounded.
Many of my clients come to me not simply for decoration, but for clarity. They want direction. They want confidence. They want a designer who can balance creativity with control and who understands both the emotional and technical demands of a high-value residential project.
KVI is based in London and works across prime residential properties throughout the UK and the UAE, collaborating with discerning private clients who value discretion, depth and enduring design.
